“One picture says more than 1,000 words” I once heard something like that, so not much talk, lots of pics.
The interesting thing about this deck in the first place was that it was lying on thick plywood (instead of plywood) of which after 60 years almost nothing was left. The deck was able to be salvaged almost in its entirety, along the way making repairs to the deck ( and the planes, but about that some other time)
In a nutshell: take off -> fix -> enhance -> cover with plywood -> glue -> perform shandeki -> finish
