Last Layer
\nFinally, it was time to restore the 8mm thick layer. It was possible to make a bevel like in the case of veneer and, with a suitable offset from the previous layer, to glue the planki* “on the dash” because the 16mm of sheathing that was inside would have been sufficient reinforcement and connection.

\nBoard mahogany sapele flater** gr.50mm cut into strip planes** gr.8,1mm. \nThree weeks of work with a sore neck and hands overhead. With a belt sander, router, circular saw, hammer, chisel, screwdriver and the indispensable angle grinder… over my head. This is not bragging, not complaining. Don’t misunderstand us! This is our work. You have to have a heart for it.
