A wooden hull requires knowledge, patience and respect for the structure. At Planker Yacht Service, we handle complex wooden yacht refurbishments – from local repairs of the sheathing to more extensive work on the deck, seals and structural components.

We work on the basis of traditional boatbuilding craft, but we also use modern materials and techniques when they allow us to increase the durability and safety of the vessel. We precede each renovation with a thorough assessment of the condition of the hull, indicating the areas requiring intervention and the scope of work necessary to restore full functionality.

Among other things, we perform planck replacement, rebate repair, sealing, restoration of wooden elements, surface preparation, sanding, varnishing and wood protection. We make sure that the repair is durable, aesthetically pleasing and in keeping with the character of the vessel.
